FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE………

(Sept. 11, 2026):  Ryan Stillwaggon of Tabernacle, NJ captured his first win of 2026 on Friday at the Georgetown Speedway. Stillwaggon led all 25 laps of the non-stop event to post his 7th career win in the DCB Plumbing & Heating Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series presented by Capitol Renegade. Stillwaggon took home $1000 for the win courtesy of Betts Garage Towing and Hauling.

“It’s been a tough year, so this a big win for us,” stated Stillwaggon following the race, “The car was excellent tonight and I could put it right on the curb and never lift.”

Stillwaggon grabbed the lead at the start and powered in front of Tim Tanner and Cody West. Point leader Troy Betts retired after 4 laps were complete with mechanical woes while Stillwaggon began to pull away from the field. Dave Brown was on the charge after starting 6th and took third from West on lap #7. The winner the last time MASS was at Georgetown, Rick Lafferty, entered the top five at the same moment after starting 10th and was looking very fast. Lap 11 Brown continued his charge as he went by Tanner for second. At this point Stillwaggon was a straightaway out in front. With 10 laps remaining Lafferty got by both West and Tanner to move into third position while Eddie Wagner was making his presence known as he was challenging to move into the top 5.

At the checkered Stillwaggon rocketed across the line for his first win with the series in 15 months. Dave Brown brought his #44 home in second. Rick Lafferty was very fast and finished third chased by Cody West and Tim Tanner Jr.

All State Auto Glass Heat Races were won by Dave Brown and rookie Zach Fields.
